Pillar
Working with materials that respond sensitively to gravity, pressure, and human touch, the performance becomes a study of how bodies negotiate their surroundings and how those surroundings, in turn, impress themselves upon us. These tactile environments operate like extensions of inner worlds: mutable, reactive, and always in the process of becoming. Through them, we explore how meaning is formed not in grand narratives, but in the small, intimate moments where sensation, intuition, and imagination overlap.
At its core, the work asks: How can we deepen our awareness of our physical selves as sites of transformation—places where memories, desires, and external forces converge? And how might dance reveal the fluid thresholds between what we inherit, what we create, and what we cannot fully articulate but nonetheless feel?
